All our furnishings
are produced by talented furniture-makers, specializing in items made with native
eastern red cedar, juniper,
hickory, pine and oak. Our artisans
have been producing
handcrafted furniture for over 20 years. They start in the forest and finish
when your piece arrives in
your home. They rarely order lumber from a delivery truck.
Usually, the wood is harvested from either their own farms or forests
from the region.
The wood is then milled locally, and then worked
into YOUR furniture.
Talented and experienced hands are involved in the process from start to
finish.

Love and Use Eastern Red Cedar
Eastern Red Cedar is one of the
awesome woods of the world, and we are so fortunate to have FORESTS
of this wood literally in our backyards.
Cedar is the strongest of all woods used to make
log furniture, and has exceptional color variations that make it
uniquely beautiful. The wood's exterior
is creamy and blonde-colored, but its core is a deep, rich red. The
contrast between the wood's light exterior and dark red interior is a
look our customers have fallen in love with all over the US and Canada.
